Grison Beatbox was born as Marcos Martínez in madrid, Spain in 1984. He studied at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, supplementing his musical training as a modern guitar music teacher in Tres Cantos, and exploring the limits of the human voice in different atypical investigating of music, from vocal polyphony oby Tibetan monks, to new trends such as the human vocal percussion or beatbox.
Marcos Martínez, also interested in other capabilities of the body to make music, delved into areas such as body percussion. By 2005, Marcos discovered Human Beatbox, as a convenient way to express and so he started a quest to find his own style as Grison Beatbox. Accompanied by his guitar and multi-devices, Grison Beatbox has spread his art throughout Europe playing in Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and Prague. Grison Beatbox has shared the stage with renowned performers in the national hip hop scene, and Mucho Muchacho, Frank T or Ivan Nieto. In january 2013, Grison Beatbox was crowned world champion at the third Boss Loop Station wold championship.
Currently, in addition to continue his work as an independent artis and in several bands, Grison Beatbox is dedicated to teaching music at the Municipal School of Music in Three Cantos where he teaches music theory and directs a children choir.
